Guilty as charged. I have overindulged over the holidays. In fact, I began overindulging even before the holidays, as a form of preparation. Hmm. Was I trying to see how far I could go, how much I could eat without tipping the scale - pardon the pun. I then found that I could not stop. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a whole month during which one can practice self-control, but I figured what for? Have you ever been there?
Well, the scale tipped. I then remembered how well I felt when I concentrated on protein and vegetables, and have been doing so for the past week. Feels great.
